The main in-game currency is Money (dollars) and can be used for all sorts of things such as purchasing Shady Guy items, things from /shop, trading with other players or just being the richest! We have another in-game currency called Gems which is only used for purchasing Ranks with in-game currency rather than real world money which you can do at spawn by right clicking the Gem Shop NPC or by typing /gemshop.

If you want money for Shady Guy items, things from /shop, trading with other players or simply to be the richest then there are a few main methods such as: #1 Mining ice - (best in the wither dimension) ice can be sold for a lot using /shop or /sell and is a great way to get money if your level 5 and above since you can access the winter dimension with almost infinite ice! #2 Basalt farms - basalt is one of the best ways to make money on the Server as basalt is one of the highest selling farmable materials, you can sell it using /shop or /sell. #3 Killing players - Killing players is a simple but effective method of getting money if you're good at PvP and find a lot of people to fight, or duel them with /duel, it's not the best method but it's simple and if the people you're killing have a bounty on them it can be a great method! #4 Chat Games - Participating in the regularly occurring chat games can reward you up to $1250 each time you win, simply get the answer right before everyone else! #5 Events - Playing in the hourly events can gain you up to $10k if you win! It's challenging but if your good enough you can win big. #6 Referrals - Referring friends to the server is a great way to make money and help out the server, for more info check out the referring section on the FAQ! #7 Chest Shops - Creating your own Shop with Chest Shops can be a great source of income, you can even set your own warp with /pw so others can quickly visit! Just make sure the players are friendly as Griefing and PvP are enabled at all times. #8 Levelling Up - Levelling up with /levels can gain you a good stable amount of money if you keep completing the requirements. #9 Linking your Discord account - Linking your Discord and Minecraft accounts on Casual MC can get you an easy $15k, simply do /discordlink in-game and make sure you're in the discord or join at https://casualmc.net/discord If you want to get Gems, level up with /levels!
